Hi I'm Tina Blyss Akers
Founder of Gentle Warrior Yoga
My passion for health and wellbeing began almost 30 years ago when I became a Massage and Spa Therapist later to become a Beauty Therapy teacher.
Always expanding my knowledge in a more holistic pursuit,
I explored the world of Traditional Chinese Massage, Aromatherapy, Nutrition, Somatic Psychotherapy.
Taking time out to grow my family, I then stepped into the realm of becoming a Yoga teacher.
I am trained in Ashtanga & Hatha, Yin Yoga, the art of Vinyasa, Pre & Post natal Yoga and specialising in teaching yoga to children.
Having practiced as a Yoga student on and off for over 25 years, it felt like a natural evolution to teach my passion whilst complementing it with my broader health and wellbeing knowledge.
My underlying heartfelt connection to the craft of Yoga allows me to grow and expand my knowledge of body, mind and spirit.
